About Fez :

Fez is one of Morocco’s  four imperial cities. In 1982  Fez Medina was listed by UNESCO as a World Site Heritage, it is known as a car-free urban car zone, within it transports of goods is provided by donkeys, mules and handcarts. The Medina of Fez   has more than 9400 alleyways so it’s very easy to get  lost, that’s why “Fezfemaleguide” is offering  professional female guides who speak: French, English, Spanish, Italian or German. Our guides can provide you with the history, culture, religion,handicraft of this intersting city.

1/ Fez day tour:

After having breakfast, our professional female guide and driver will join you wherever you are, and pick you up to start your day tour in this beautiful city. First you will have a visit outside the medina to see its Ramparts ,the first stop will be at the king’s Palace which is located on Fes jdid (14^th  Century area).Then you will discover the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), after that you will stop at  the highest Panoramic view of the city (Borj Sud), few minutes later you will visit the Mosaic and Tiles factory, where you will see how the artisans  make so many different beautiful products.

After this tour by car,you will start your second tour walking with guide .You will explore this old town which is very interesting because it is dated back to the 8^th Century. This Medina is peppered with Mosques, Madrassas, and palaces. So you will have the opportunity to see many different active markets like; Dyers , Blacksmiths, Coppersmiths, Carpenters, and you will visit one of the most beautiful Medersas ( Quranic school), the Quaraouine University, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II (the founder of Fez), the wood Museum, the Tanneries section which is the most remarkable site in Fez , the weavers…

Lunch will be around 1pm in a local typical local recommended Restaurant.

At the end, your guide will take you back to the meeting point or any place you want.
